Registration Instructions

To register your children between the ages of 6 and 17, print the form, complete the necessary data and mail it along with your check to:

Make all checks payable to "WHCYB Association". A $25.00 charge will be assessed for any returned checks. Do not send cash. Please complete a separate form for each child and keep a copy of your registration for further reference. We cannot guarantee placement for registrations received after October 1, 2008.

Player Eligibility
Players are not permitted to participate simultaneously on more than one WHCYBA-supported team.

Recreational Program Evaluations
All children participating in the Recreational Program between the ages of 7 and 17 will be evaluated for skill level in mid-October to enable the formation of evenly balanced teams. Please check this site in early October for the schedule. Age 6 will not be evaluated.

Travel Program Tryouts
Tryouts for the Travel Program begin in early September and may continue for several weeks. The schedule will be posted on this site in mid-late August. All registered WHCYB travel team players are restricted from simultaneously participating in the WHCYB recreational program.

Start Dates
Team practices for Age Groups 7-13 start in early November and game competition begins in early December. Games (1-2 per week) are scheduled on either Saturdays or Sundays for age groups 7-13. The 14-17 divisions do not practice and play 2 games per week on both weeknights and weekends. The Age 6 (Clinic) program will begin in December -- parents will be contacted in late November regarding the day and time.

School Locations
Practices and games are held at various schools throughout Western Howard County. Although we attempt to place children at practice sites close to their homes if possible, there are no guarantees regarding either practice sites or game locations.

Cancellation Policy
To receive a refund, having no participation, you must notify WHCYB in writing by the start of league play in December. An administrative fee of $15.00 will be withheld from the refund of each player.
